The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Class of 08, kicked it last night at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York.. from reuters.com -

Inductees included: Madonna, John Mellencamp, Leonard Cohen, Songwriters Leon Huff and Kenny Gamble, The Dave Clark Five and Ben Harper.

Performers included: Patti LaBelle, Jerry Butler, John Mellencamp and John Fogerty, Joan Jett, Damian Rice, The Ventures, Iggy Popp, and Ben Harper.

Artists become eligible for the Hall of Fame 25 years after the release of their first single or album and are represented in an exhibition at the Hall of Fame’s museum in Cleveland, Ohio.
