Dream Machines in Frankfurt.. in pictures
Alright guys, I mean the ladies too. The Frankfurt International Motor Show was way too cool. The 88 new models was on display for the whole world to see. From the slide show: “The tagline for the 2007 Frankfurt International Motor Show, “Sehen, was morgen bewegt,” translates to “See what moves tomorrow.” Some 88 new models are on display, but it seems lacking in the usual flights of fancy.”
From nytimes.com comes some hot wheels. Some of the pictures include:
1> The wildest offering was the F700 concept, which may qualify as Best of Show despite polarizing reactions to it.
2> A sort of Mini-meets-”Minority Report,” the Citroën C-Cactus is at once provocative and appealing.
3> Citroëns have not been sold in the United States for decades; one look at the C-Cactus and you can see why not.
4> The Mixim was Nissan’s latest of many recent nonfunctional auto show design studies.. all-electric vehicle.
5> Hyundai may actually use the platform of its i-Blue design study for future crossovers, but its advertised 100-kilowatt electric motor, powered by a fuel cell.
6> The Kizashi is a midsize concept introduced by Suzuki, with relatively little explanation.
7> The Opel FlexTreme is reminiscent of the GTC concept introduced last March at Geneva. The powerplant uses a slight variation on G.M.’s E-Flex hybrid technology.
The carmakers seem to be trying to prove how green they are. Check out the additional link.. The Frankfurt Motor Show with Audio.
What’s your pick? You guys have a really great week-end.. Peace!
